The tour includes a 1-mile leisurely walk, narrated by Joe Jacupcak. Joe's passion for geology, native wildlife, and local history is showcased during the Nell's Woodland guided walk. Guided tours are given bi-weekly.

Storytime with Reddick Library

Join us at Nell's Woodland on Monday, February 3 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM for a nature themed story time. Enjoy stories, music, and a craft followed by a short hike through the park.

Discover how prescribed burns supports ecosystem health, habitat restoration, and wildlife conservation with experts Dr. David Manigold (Illinois Extension Master Naturalist) and Audrey Moreno (LaSalle County SWCD).​

Farmers and landowners are encouraged to attend to learn more about managing conservation program ground with prescribed burns.
